Hi, my first build blog and.... it's not going so well, I had a 17mm plywood board which I cut the rough sides out of, stuck the 2 sides together with hot glue so that I could shape them (at least any goofs would match 😊 - all good so far.
Then today, as the sun is out I decided to get the sides shape finalised, everything I tried came out wonky, squint, definitely unstraight, tried a jigsaw-sander-scroll saw, rasps and files all to no avail, at this rate I'll be left with a couple of oddly shaped dice 😊. So I'll have to buy thinner plywood and start again. So unfortunately nothing to show so far.

I know that this sounds so obvious but I just want to check with people who are much more experienced in this kind of thing.
I want to use 2 motors with this boat with a mixer so that I can amuse myself playing with all the cool functions and tight turning etc to take my mind off of how much I've just spent 😊.
My question is: can I use an Mtronics W tail mixer with another manufacturers esc's, this is the last items I have to buy and if I am quick I might be able to get Howes to add this to my order.
I would really appreciate any help you guys could give me.
