@GaryLC Hi Gary,
Beautiful model, it's always good to get near to the end of a project. The Windermere kettle was noted. Looking forward to seeing some on the water photos some time in the future.
Cheers,
Stephen.

Gary,
That is one beautiful boat!
In fact, it is more than a boat ..... it is a piece of art.

So far my collection resembles "The Island of Misfit Toys". I've picked up several boats that are old builds and have been neglected. I'm giving them the TLC they need, hoping to bring them back to their former glory. Once I get enough practice/ experience I intend to take on a full build.

@AlessandroSPQR. Hi Alessandro, and always good to hear from you. I think the answer to that question is time factor, and the fact that I have been at it for a long time, as in about SIXTY YEARS. A bit like the fact one improves with age rather like a fine wine. I think it has a lot to do with practise does make perfect, and each boat tends to be a little better than the last one. It is a never ending learning curve, and a figment of my imagination no plans required. Mind the end result has turned out rather well and I am happy with the end result. Regards, Gary.

Hi Gary, I hope to see this magnificent ship model finished as soon as possible, for your well-deserved satisfaction.
But I have a question: how do you manage to create such clean, perfect boats? They are truly exceptional pieces of work.

TVR 1A.

I have finally managed to make a little progress, on the building of my open launch. Which I am pleased to say is almost complete at long last, This is my first post this year due to numerous problems along the way, old age certainly has a lot to answer for. I just need to sort out the front deck, and build some sort of structure around the gas canister valve which is a bit higher than the front deck. I hope to make something that gives easy access to the gas valve. I am hoping to have this completed before the end of this year, and have for some strange reason a sudden urge to see it perform on the water.
A question for you, can you recommend someone, a company or what ever, that does vinyl good quality stickers in the UK. So as I can give her a name. A few photos (note the Windemere steam kettle, no expense spared.) regards Gary.
