Finally got the boat going and learnt a big lesson. I was using a prop shaft the telescopes and it did. With the motor running hard I think I hit some weed which caused the prop to have extra pressure on it. The shaft then collapsed in from the added pressure and I lost all propeller thrust. Could hear the motor revving and no motion. Had to be rescued by a model sailing boat!

Purchased in Ross when on holidays last week but live in Sydney! So a bit far to come. Like the look of your boats.

My mate and I both have Sea Hornets, his has a funny cabin on it also.
Mine is build by the original plans.
Brushless 28mm 1900kv, 45Amp ESC on 3S with a 32mm prop.
Was GPS at Lauderdale canal at 45KPH.

Boaty I agree with Canabus. The shape of the hull does appear to be from the Sea Hornet and when looking to the aft the cockpit is also very similar. Looks like you have a good buy there.

The hull looks to be an Aerokits Sea Hornet with a difference top.
The transom looks the right shape.
The Sea Hornet was 25 and 1/2 inches long.
