The Northern Explorer is a Research Vessel at 1:48 scale fitted with a working sea crane, stern gantry and winch, as well as bow thruster, two anchor winches and a heli-deck for an XK123 A350 mini-helicopter.
A variety of lights compliments her uniqueness while a bridge mounted camera provides FPV signal.
The original boat was a replica TUG which was retrofitted to produce the RV Northern Explorer.
